The Benazir Kafalat Program is for individuals who need it the most. Make sure that you meet the following requirements:
- You are a woman: The Program is for female heads of low-income household, including widows and divorced women.
- Valid CNIC: You should have a valid National Identity Card (CNIC) from NADRA.
- Poverty Score: Your family’s poverty score must be below the limit as determined by National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) survey.
- No Government Job: You or your family should not be government employee, a pensioner, or have a high-income source.

How to Apply
It is easy to apply. You can choose whichever one works best for you:
- The simplest means of applying is to message your 13-digit CNIC number to 8171, no spaces or dashes. You will receive a confirmation SMS message regarding your eligibility.
- You can visit the official 8171 Web Portal, and enter your CNIC number and the captcha code to check your status.
- If users do not have a phone or access to the internet, they can visit their closest BISP Tehsil Office. They will need their original CNIC and any documents listed in order to register for the Dynamic Survey.
